The much awaited prices of iPhone 6 and 6S is here. Both the models will be available at the cost ranging from Rs. 53,500 and Rs. 62,500 respectively. The iPhone 6 64GB and 128GB cost Rs. 62,500 and Rs.71,500, while the iPhone 6 Plus is priced at Rs. 71,500 for the 64GB and Rs. 80,500 for the 128 GB.
On Sunday, Apple sent a confirmation e-mail about the availability of the 2 new models which would be on 17th October. Authorized distributor Ingram Micro announced that, the pre-bookings of these new models would begin from 7th Oct in India. Later, it has also confirmed that the six models of the iPhone 6 series will be available across the retail stores from 17th Oct. Ingram Micro reportedly told PTI that these new series will be the largest progressions in iPhone history at the retail outlets in India starting 17th October 12:01am. It will be made available for pre-orders from 7th Oct 12:01 am onwards at the major retail outlets of the partners.
Apple sells iPhone in India through its trade partners Redington, Ingram Micro, Rashi Peripherals, and Reliance. The iPhone 6 has a 4.7 inch Retina HD display with a 750×1334 pixels offering a 326 ppi density and the iPhone 6 Plus has a 5.5 inch Retina HD display with 1080×1920 pixels offering 401 ppi density.
Apple has built these both models with A8 processor, a 64-bit architecture and M8 second-generation motion coprocessor.
It has an 8-megapixel iSight camera with face-detection autofocus, whilst there is a 1.2 Megapixel Face Time camera onboard. The common features for the both the models are Touch ID home button fingerprint sensor, barometer, 3-axis gyro, accelerometer, and ambient light sensor. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi (802.11a/b/g/n/ac), Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, and LTE.
